Wave Dancer by John Mishler, incorporates kinetic energy with parts that move with the wind. As it turns, it appears it will collide with its immobile counterpart but passes by safely as it dances gracefully with the wind. “Moving Sculptures” have become Mishler’s trademark. Standing 14 feet tall, it is made of bare and painted stainless steel. Mishler received his MFA at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville in 1977 and lives in Indiana. The sculpture is located on Main Street across from Regner Park..
