Antenna Man

Eric Nordgulen

Antenna Man, by Eric Nordgulen, is a sculpture made from fabricated aluminum and interlocking wires. Aluminum was chosen as a material for Antenna Man because it is lightweight and lends itself well to the concept of an antenna. It is a gurative form that abstractly represents a human form. Nordgulen interprets the human body as a sender and receptor for signals. He received an MFA in sculpture and ceramics from Indiana University in 1985 and became professor of sculpture at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis. The sculpture is located at the Serigraph plant on East Washington Street.
